  • Configure and deploy network solutions based on business requirements.
  • Respond to support tickets & interface with users.
  • Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schemas and network diagrams.
  • Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Monitor and Tune system performance.
  • Support ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) processes by patching, hardening, and/or upgrading systems as appropriate.
  • Ability to travel between L3Harris Facilities inside the Rochester, NY area. Additional travel may be required.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Network LAN/WAN administration with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with network encryption technologies including Inline Network Encryptors.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, MTU, routing, RADIUS, 802.1x, TCP/IP v4/v6, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices (patch management, STIG compliance, system accreditation, etc.).
  • Active Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) certification.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal direction.
  • Good interpersonal skills for interfacing with team members, users, and stakeholders.
