About The Position

The Marketing Production Specialist supports the daily production workflow of the Marketing Department by coordinating graphics work orders, assisting with project tracking, and ensuring timely completion of marketing materials. This role serves as a primary point of contact for internal departments submitting marketing requests and helps facilitate efficient collaboration between the Graphics, Advertising, and Print functions. This position also provides support with basic graphic design tasks and production preparation as needed. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of design principles and marketing concepts, along with experience using industry-standard design software or coursework in a related field. Candidates may demonstrate their experience through a portfolio, school projects, internships, or other relevant work samples. This position also coordinates community relations activities with relevant communications and representation both on- and off-property to positively market Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Hospitality, or a combination of relevant education and work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
  • Primary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the department and/or checking the status of graphics jobs already in progress.
  • Monitors daily operation of the Graphics, Advertising and Print functions ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Responsible for scheduling graphic production planning process:
  • Fulfills work orders and notifies requestor to pick up or schedule with receiving to deliver.
  • Prioritizes print jobs and adds to the schedule.
  • Assigns designer to appropriate project while adhering to workload maximums.
  • Maintains graphic production trafficking procedures to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitors all phases of production processes.
  • Develops and maintains an adherence to the brand standard guide and brand building principals and reviews copy.
  • Assists with basic graphic design tasks as needed, including creating and updating simple marketing materials such as flyers, signage, digital slides, and internal communication pieces.
  • Supports the Graphics team by preparing production-ready files for print and digital use, ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Makes minor revisions and edits to existing artwork based on internal customer requests, including text updates, resizing, and layout adjustments.
  • Reviews design proofs for quality control, including verifying brand consistency, copy accuracy, and visual presentation prior to final production.
  • Helps maintain and organize graphic assets, templates, and project files to support efficient workflow and brand consistency.
  • Serves as liaison of community sponsorships, memberships, and partnerships ensuring relationships are positively maintained.
  • Assists, plans, executes, and serves as JRCR point person for sponsored events on- and off-site including but not limited to Chamber, Tourism, Marketing, Media and/or Sporting events.
  • Facilitates planning and production for on- and off-site events including creating and tracking graphic work orders, Facilities work orders, Purchasing work orders, coupons, decorations, etc.
  • Tracks membership dues and subscriptions for community relation activities and makes recommendations for continued involvement.
  • Communicates community event and information details and activities with appropriate departments and ensures information is disseminated in a timely manner.
  • Assists with content development, press releases, and other types of communications, correspondence and representation as directed by Director of Marketing.
  • Demonstrates initiative in learning marketing processes, brand standards, and production workflows, with the goal of growing skills and contributing more broadly to the Marketing team over time.
