About The Position

iRF Solutions, an Amphenol business, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help turn new designs into reliable, scalable production for their miniature microwave products. The role involves shaping how products are built and tested, creating repeatable processes, tooling, work instructions, and test methods. The engineer will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve production quality and speed time to market, pushing manufacturing capabilities forward. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing environment or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement plans.
  • Experience doing root cause analysis on mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Experience reading electronic schematics and printed circuit board layouts to drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and production planning tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze workflow for specific product lines and own improvement plans.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve production issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Design Engineering.
  • Specify, justify, and install new equipment, tools, and fixtures to support production goals.
  • Collect and interpret production data to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Implement statistical process control and monitor key process indicators.
  • Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
  • Participate in new product introduction activities, ensuring manufacturability and smooth integration into existing lines.
