The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location: Grandview: 1000 Yard Street Grandview OH, 43215 Work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

  • Conducts technical, professional and management training and programs including, developmental or interactive skills training to entry through advanced level associates.
  • May deliver pilot training courses and programs.
  • Creates and uses evaluation tools and methodologies to evaluate effectiveness of class and program learning experiences against quantified objectives.
  • Designs, develops and modifies new and existing courses and programs.
  • May partner with subject matter authorities or other instructors.
  • May assist with design and development of curriculum using appropriate learning methodology including e-learning.
  • Conducts need analysis for area of responsibility.
  • Assists with performance consulting leading to development of performance solutions on projects at all levels of complexity and scope.
  • Markets department resources and communicates programs and curriculum to potential customers.
  • Develops marketing materials to promote services, products and curriculum.
  • May determine focus, customization of materials for specific audiences.
  • Identifies, schedules and prepares subject matter authorities or other identified resources to develop, evaluate and deliver learning solutions within budget.
  • Creates forecast and estimates of project costs with direction.
  • Participates in or may lead portions of Learning & Performance projects.
  • Ensures team expectations (team member roles and contributions) are clearly communicated.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Facilitation experience is preferred.
  • Learning theory knowledge and background.
  • Experience with modern learning techniques.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience.
  • Project experience, leading or supporting.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Education degree preferred.
  • Experience with Life/Annuity preferred.
  • Power Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate) experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred with emphasis in business, education, psychology or related subject area desired.
  • Advanced studies in instructional technology, management, organization development or the behavioral sciences leading to a graduate degree preferred.
  • Progress toward recognized professional certification, such as the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred.
