Manage internal and external IT projects in cooperation with outside vendors when necessary Set up networking devices (routers, switches, access points, etc.) Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems Serve as the Second level of support to the IT Specialist I in the performance of their duties Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders Taking ownership and maintenance of various IT solutions including MDM, Wi-Fi central management and in-truck delivery management systems. Take ownership of POS system maintenance coordination including smaller scale projects regarding changes and upgrades. Assist in the setup and maintenance of VoIP equipment and systems. Assist in user setup and maintenance for systems including DVR access, accounting systems, Azure AD, and others as needed or implemented. QualificationsEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of a high school diploma. College degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IT Technician or relevant position Ability to travel to client locations as needed (drive is within 2 hours) Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication ability Outstanding organizational and time-management skills In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks Strong knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Network+ or similar certification required. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Knowledge of Windows Autopilot or other computer imaging solutions desired. Project management capabilities are required.
