About The Position

The Integration/Test Engineering Specialist for RC-135 Mission Systems at L3Harris is responsible for sustaining complex airborne and ground-based systems. This role involves operating and maintaining various communication systems, troubleshooting issues, and managing system records to ensure optimal performance of the RC-135 aircraft mission systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 4 years of prior related experience, or 10 years of prior related experience.
• Experience operating/sustaining computers, LAN networks, RF systems, radios, and datalinks.
• Previously qualified to troubleshoot and maintain RC-135 mission systems or similar systems.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance within 1 year.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time.
• Ability to climb ladders daily.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other advanced test equipment.
• Broadband and voice communications experience.
• Qualified to maintain RC-135 mission systems within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate LOS and SATCOM radios in voice, text, and data modes.
• Configure, load, operate, and maintain various crypto devices.
• Perform configuration, setup, and usage of Data Transfer Devices.
• Operate and sustain various datalinks and broadband communications.
• Troubleshoot and repair HF, VHF, and UHF receiver/transmitter systems.
• Operate and sustain digital/computer-based systems and associated networks.
• Repair coax, ethernet, and multi-pin cables and connections.
• Utilize electronic schematic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair digital and analog circuits.
• Manage system records and coordinate with maintenance supply organizations for requisition, documentation, and turn-in of parts.
