Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safe and effective instrumentation and data recording during rocket engine testing.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of anomalies.
  • Supports the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, and related measurements.
  • Understands basic operation of various sensor types and recording methods.
  • Works with Quality, Engineering, and Safety organizations to achieve common goals.
  • Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
  • Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Ability to obtain a NASA Personal Reliability Program (PRP) clearance.
