Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree, 5+ years' experience in the use of electric and gas distribution work management systems.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide effective formal management presentations of strategic and operational business issues.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills with the ability to identify creative solutions to complex and abstract issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with project management, operations analysis, operations experience, or process improvement experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create process documentation & training material as well as provide user training as needed.
  • Execute Work Management systems testing and training as required.
  • Become proficient in Work Management systems administrative configuration.
  • Following established procedures, ensures systems are operating as designed, evaluates requests for changes to systems, provides routine system maintenance, documents system processes and procedures, improvements and makes daily decisions involving direct application of technical knowledge to system/issues.
  • Maintains relationships with business clients and IT areas. May assist in managing relationships with outside vendors.
  • Analyze performance management metrics to identify improvement opportunities, provide project management skills to planned activities.
  • Perform trouble shooting for user identified issues in Work Management systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of large projects and internal audit inquiries.
  • Provide process, performance, and systems design consulting support towards roll-out of system enhancements for Customer Field Operations, System Operations, Electric and Gas Operations and Customer Service use.
  • Provide expertise in the outage restoration process in support of the service centers and the SOC by staffing the outage management system help-line during storm events.
  • Participate in staffing the Work Management help desk during business hours to support customer needs.
