Job Summary: A seasoned finance professional with deep operational acumen in Workday and a proven ability to translate insight into action. Operates autonomously within defined goals, actively contributes to technical conversations, and plays a key role in driving solution enhancements across business functions.

  • Ensure seamless integration between Workday payroll systems and both internal and external platforms
  • Coordinate Time & Attendance processes using Symplr Workforce Management or similar software, ensuring accurate payroll processing
  • Evaluate business challenges and implement technology-driven solutions via applications, integrations, and automation
  • Contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
  • Serve as a technical advisor to close system gaps and recommend scalable or customized solutions as needed
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to craft integration strategies and document technical approaches
  • Support organizational initiatives by delivering financial analysis, creating project documentation, and facilitating end-user training
  • Translate complex finance-related needs into actionable system requirements and technical specifications
  • Document operational processes and offer guidance to junior team members to support their development
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed of emerging industry practices and technologies
  • 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience, ideally within healthcare or mission-driven, not-for-profit environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong background in configuring and reporting within Workday Payroll is crucial
  • Proven ability to lead requirements gathering and coordinate cross-functional projects from concept to execution
  • Exceptional analytical mindset paired with clear communication and thorough documentation capabilities
  • Experience with Symplr Workforce Management or equivalent software such as Kronos is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of core operational domains such as revenue cycle, payroll, time & attendance tracking, and information systems
