Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in Supply Chain, manufacturing and/or vendor management environments.
  • Strong mathematic and analytical skills
  • Proficient ln MS Office Suite is required, with emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write and present reports and recommendations.
  • Experience in negotiation
  • Experience in contract management

Responsibilities

  • Owns the supply chain relationship with the vendors who supply inventory items and/or professional services.
  • Participates in contract reviews and coordinates contract renewals, changes/addendums with appropriate internal teams.
  • Negotiates pricing, improved lead times, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
  • Leads vendor management reviews detailing vendor performance, spend, price changes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Works with Supply Planners to mitigate impact from vendor service disruptions.
  • Partners with Marketing team to support vendor selection and setup process.
  • Establish standards and drive vendors to adhere to procurement procedures.
  • Support RFQ/RFI initiatives.
  • Manages the sourcing and item set up process and maintains vendor sourcing rules, sourcing assignments, and lead times.
  • Collaborate with the off-site buyer team on PO execution, ensure KPI targets are met, and vendor updates
