About The Position

The Standard Specialist I is responsible for supporting the development, documentation, and maintenance of operational policies and procedures related to Station Operations. This position focuses on ensuring clarity, compliance, and usability of policy content, while collaborating with internal departments to support operational effectiveness and frontline adoption. Visa Sponsorship Available: No Minimum Requirements: Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Requirements

  • Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Airline Operations Experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in airport or airline operations, documentation, or training support.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow processes, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching and drafting new or revised policies, procedures, and job aids that align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather operational insights and feedback.
  • Maintain policy documentation through approved systems and ensure proper version control and change tracking.
  • Support communication and distribution of policy updates to internal stakeholders and frontline teams.
  • Ensure procedural content is integrated into training materials by partnering with instructional design and training teams.
  • Respond to routine policy-related inquiries and escalate complex questions to senior team members.
  • Track and monitor deviations, waivers, and exception requests under guidance from senior staff.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, TSA, IATA) and support updates to align policies accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
