The position involves managing and growing a portfolio of high-valued clients in loan and deposit accounts while adhering to established lending and operational policies. The role requires maintaining client information and serving as a liaison throughout the bank to facilitate the delivery of financial products and services. Responsibilities include initial reception, prospecting, information gathering, analyzing, profiling, documenting, closing, follow-up service, and various reporting requirements. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with high-value clients and should be a self-starter and team player. The position may also involve handling incoming calls and emails, ensuring professional communication and appropriate follow-up actions. Additional tasks include supporting account openings, processing CD renewals, issuing cashier's checks, preparing wire transactions, and assisting with loan applications. The role also supports the International Banking Officer in sales and service functions.

  • Assist the assigned wealth management team to maintain, expand, and service deposit relationships of assigned existing high-value clientele.
  • Respond to inquiries from new clientele under supervision and training.
  • Assist with loan requests from initiation to closing, including prospecting, information gathering, analyzing, profiling, and follow-up.
  • Ensure timely processing of deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and funds transfers.
  • Generate referrals for various banking products and services.
  • Conduct documentation audits for deposit, loan, and related products and services.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the client base.
  • Serve as a backup for other administrative/operational duties and assist in special projects.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, officers, and Bank departments to resolve issues.
  • Ensure timely updates of missing and incomplete reports.
  • Compile accurate loan, deposit, and other reports in a timely manner.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 6+ months of experience in Commercial and retail loan and deposit servicing or underwriting for Specialist I.
  • 2+ years of experience in Commercial and retail loan and deposit servicing or underwriting for Specialist II.
  • 3+ years of experience in Commercial and retail loan and deposit servicing or underwriting for Specialist III.
  • 4+ years of experience in Commercial and retail loan and deposit servicing or underwriting for Senior Specialist.
  • Experience in Loan documentation, rules, and regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean language preferred.
  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) required.
