About The Position
At SitusAMC, we are seeking a Specialist I in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive real estate analysis, CMBS, and other commercial real estate loan underwriting and debt consulting services. The Specialist I will manage multiple transactions for various clients, often under tight deadlines, and may take on supervisory responsibilities, acting as a 'player-coach' to junior staff. The position requires a strong subject matter expertise in the relevant work products and the ability to conduct quality control and risk assessments on deals. The Specialist I will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing a variety of financial documents, including operating statements, loan documents, and market data. This includes conducting thorough due diligence on financial and legal documents, as well as market and technical reports. The role also involves performing site inspections, determining market comparables for property valuation, and assisting with loan closings. The Specialist will engage in telephone interviews to gather market data and participate in credit committee calls, contributing to the development of value conclusions for various property types. In addition to these responsibilities, the Specialist I will update or create complex cash flow models using industry-standard software like Argus, monitor loan performance, and conduct audits of financial documentation. The role may also involve identifying high-risk loans and performing other specific tasks as assigned by management.
