About The Position

The Graphic Designer develops and designs complex multimedia visual communications, often under tight deadlines. Projects may include conference/event materials, internal marketing collateral, brochures, publications, and web page designs. This role involves creating visual concepts that meet customer needs and preparing designs for print, web, or multimedia platforms. Responsibilities include font selection, layout creation, illustration and photo editing, and adherence to style guides or corporate standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design preferred, or equivalent coursework/certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven design and layout skills.
  • Experience in print production and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent Ricoh professionally.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, customer service, and follow-up skills.
  • Translate artistic concepts into effective visual media.
  • Design using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver on both Mac and PC platforms.
  • Provide graphic consultation and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce print, packaging, advertising, point-of-purchase, and digital graphics.
  • Ensure quality and design standards are met.
  • Format multipage documents using style sheets and mapping.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and innovations.
  • Redefine design briefs to meet cost, time, and client constraints.
  • Comply with legal standards related to duplication, printing, software, and fonts.
  • Meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Consult with clients to determine graphic needs, budget, and timelines.
  • Liaise with printers and publishers; review proofs and manage production.
  • Manage digital asset libraries and utilize asset management technologies.
  • May lead and coordinate the work of other designers.
  • Create and conceptualize brand identities using logos, layouts, and color palettes.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
