In this role, you will help power the insights that develop how McDonald’s protects its global ecosystem. Our team delivers value through dashboards and visualizations that highlight the impact, efficiency, and opportunities within Global Cyber Security. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key part in redefining raw data into clear narratives that guide decision‑making and showcase security performance across our organization and global markets. This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, and analysis to support dashboards, metrics, and reporting that provide awareness of organizational priorities and security posture. You will work closely with service teams and collaborators to assemble high‑quality data, develop scalable reporting solutions, and deliver insights that enable leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roles
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or PowerShell
  • Experience working with SQL or similar tools for data querying and manipulation
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality concepts, and metadata management
  • Exposure to APIs and integrating data from multiple systems
  • Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate data into business value
  • Able to work independently, dedicated, comfortable with changing requirements, and thrives in a fast, sophisticated environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, and Excel; translate data into clear, consumable visualizations for collaborators
  • Ingest, combine, clean, and transform data from diverse sources; ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of data assets
  • Apply data quality checks, documentation practices, and governance standards to maintain trusted datasets
  • Develop and maintain lightweight automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Python, or scripting to streamline recurring processes
  • Apply APIs to connect to and extract data from various platforms and services
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business and security initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand KPIs, reporting requirements, and strategic priorities
  • Assist with maintenance of data pipelines and routine troubleshooting to support reliable data operations
  • Supply to broader data standardization efforts across GCS, including consistent scoring, KPIs, SLAs, and metrics governance
  • Communicate findings and results to technical and non‑technical audiences with clarity and precision
