Responsible for advising students, parents, faculty, and staff in all aspects of financial aid. Serves as a primary source of information disseminated to Harper College stakeholders regarding specific aid statuses and deadlines, instruction on the proper completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other financial aid applications and forms, and complex aid regulations. Expertise is critical in the areas of application, verification, and awarding of aid, exercising professional judgment, and operating in compliance with the regulatory requirements for federal, state, institutional, and external financial aid programs. Assists with the administration of the federal and state grant programs, Veterans education benefits, scholarships, federal work study, as well as federal and private student loan programs (Direct, PLUS, and Alternative Loans). This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
