About The Position
The Financial Aid Specialist is responsible for educating current and potential students by providing information on financial aid policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Satisfactory Academic Progress, federal and state aid eligibility, and Professional Judgement requirements. The Financial Aid Specialist manages the student contact through written, oral, telephonic, and electronic communication. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC's core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating, and Celebrating when interacting with students, employees, visitors, and community members. Some evenings may be necessary to assist with financial aid presentations.
