About The Position

As a Proposal Analyst, you will join the Pricing Team at the L3Harris Greenville, TX location. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing various efforts for both Government and Commercial customers. This role encompasses all aspects of pricing, including pricing proposal inputs utilizing pricing software, creating of both cost and price volumes, supporting internal reviews, ensuring compliance to both company policies and Government requirements, and participating in customer proposal audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as it relates to pricing activities
  • Minimum 4 years experience with defense industry and/or multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FPIF, FFP, T&M, OTA etc.) either in execution or in the proposal phase
  • 4 years experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, and/or proposal pricing
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Excel using Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and SUM/IF formulas
  • Must be a US citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ProPricer or other pricing software tools
  • Understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Adobe Pro, Nitro PDF Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Aptitude to read and understand complex requirement documents

Responsibilities

  • Responding to all assigned requests for proposal (RFP’s)
  • Reviews and analyzes RFP’s to develop compliant proposals, pricing data, and supports both internal and external reviews
  • Capacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Ensures the use of current published pricing rates, estimating factors, and cost buildup algorithms
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers, management, proposal teams and customer
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy and support maintaining a DFARS adequate estimating system
  • Ensure final submissions are compliant with respect to company policies, customer requests, and U. S. Government regulations when applicable
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
