About The Position

This position serves as AVIXA’s email build expert. From production through to execution, s/he will work with the Global Marketing Department to achieve measurable email marketing results. The ideal candidate must have email marketing experience with a deep knowledge of HTML and email marketing best practices. S/he will prepare and launch HTML emails and utilize Salesforce Account Engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, graphics, web, journalism or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience coding responsive HTML/CSS email templates.
  • Proficient in Salesforce Account Engagement or similar enterprise ESP.
  • Experience working in Basecamp, ClickUp, or similar Project Management System.
  • Functional experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • A balance of creative and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good communications skills including excellent spelling, grammatical and proofreading skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in CAN-SPAM and GDPR or other regulations/laws related to privacy and email communications.
  • Experience with email metrics and report creation.
  • Experience with design and an eye for good design.
  • Current and active Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist or Consultant certification(s) from Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy effective email marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal Marketing teams, ensuring measurable results using Salesforce Account Engagement.
  • Refine emails using industry best practices, email drips and strategic A/B testing to improve engagement and performance.
  • Prepare and QA all email marketing campaigns for deployment, including proofreading content, optimizing imagery, editing HTML, adding UTM parameters, and testing across devices and clients for consistent rendering and accessibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, and Marketing Technology teams to align campaign design, messaging, automation, and scheduling with brand standards and performance goals, while ensuring all campaigns are delivered accurately and on deadline.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and contractors to manage mailing schedules using Basecamp. Train new contractors on email setup, testing protocols, campaign deployment, and evolving email tools and best practices.
  • Maintain performance reports tracking key email marketing metrics and communicate results with internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze and monitor the latest email marketing trends and identify potential email marketing opportunities. Suggest innovative email experiences and share creative ideas to keep the team engaged and excited about email options.
  • Work with the Marketing department to determine appropriate email campaign send lists and utilize Salesforce to run list queries.
  • Collaborate with and assist the Marketing Technology team on marketing automation setup, reporting and other projects.
  • Assist with additional marketing services as needed.
