The Data Science Specialist is a temporary role lasting for up to twelve (12) months. The Specialist works collaboratively with the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) team, using machine learning and statistical techniques to help solve JetBlue's most complex commercial and operational challenges. The Specialist will support in exploring and creating compelling visualizations of new datasets, identifying key features and engineering new ones to be used in modeling, assisting with JetBlue's continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD), FinOps and ML Ops processes, and assisting with the research for modeling approaches that deliver the best results based on appropriate evaluation metrics. The Specialist reports to the Manager, AI and ML.
