About The Position

The Tableau Developer position is focused on creating and managing Tableau dashboards, report authoring, and troubleshooting data sources. The role requires hands-on experience with various versions of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server administration. The candidate will be responsible for developing dynamic visualizations, creating interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for dashboards and worksheets. Additionally, the role involves working with large and complex data sets, writing queries, and understanding data systems, BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and normalization.
• Experience with data systems, BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, and ETL.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in query and reporting analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mandatory certification as per company standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ANSI-SQL.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Data Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Troubleshoot data source management and Tableau Server administration activities.
• Develop dynamic visualizations and customize Tableau capabilities.

• Gather and validate functional requirements with business analysts or sponsors.
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Use query and reporting analysis tools proficiently.
• Develop, maintain, and manage Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance associates to ensure deliverables are accurate.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline business processes.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
