As a key contributor to our software security and cybersecurity initiatives, you will utilize Agile (Scrum) methodologies to lead software development for security applications and infrastructure enhancements. You will foster strong team relationships, providing mentorship and professional development support to junior developers. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will define application requirements and drive the product vision. Your role will involve designing and developing software applications to optimize company performance, leveraging Object-Oriented Programming principles to build scalable, reusable code repositories. You will identify, establish, and develop API connections for seamless integrations, conduct software security and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust protection, and manage software testing, version control (Git), and commit authentication. Additionally, you will engineer secure hardware and software systems, develop and maintain infrastructure platforms to support business operations, consult with internal stakeholders on software projects, and build and maintain data pipelines for backend and IoT systems. Implementing cybersecurity best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) will be crucial. You will document processes, security protocols, and system architectures to support continuous improvement, perform secure code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, and respond to security incidents, working with response teams to mitigate risks. Mentoring junior developers in secure coding practices and promoting a security-first culture will also be part of your responsibilities.
