About The Position

The Specialist Customer Success Manager (S-CSM) role at SAP Academy for Customer Success is designed for individuals early in their careers who are eager to develop their skills in customer success management. This position is pivotal in guiding customers through their business journey with SAP solutions, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, references, and upsells for Cloud products within the assigned solution portfolio. The S-CSM will oversee key customer milestones throughout the customer lifecycle, starting from deal signature through system provisioning, monitoring implementation progress, and ensuring business case achievement. As the strategic point of contact for customers, the S-CSM will leverage resources across SAP functions to maintain overall customer health. The S-CSM will participate in a comprehensive 10-month learn-apply program that includes both classroom and field phases, enhancing their support into the S-CSM/E-CSM role. This immersive program emphasizes digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, and solution/industry knowledge. Participants will receive onboarding in their local market, on-the-job training, and mentoring from senior S-CSM professionals, allowing them to work both behind the scenes and directly with customers. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition into a direct customer-facing S-CSM role, continuing to receive mentoring and coaching support to accelerate their growth. The S-CSM will focus on various areas including SAP Digital Supply Chain, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network, SAP Signavio, and SAP BTP, requiring knowledge in these domains to effectively manage customer retention and drive value realization.
