POSITION SUMMARY What you’ll be doing: We are hiring an experienced Credentialing Specialist to be responsible for all aspects of payor enrollments, credentialing onboarding, re-credentialing with payors and the privileging process for all medical providers who provide patient care at FastMed Urgent Care and FastMed Primary Care in accordance with applicable regulatory agencies, state specific requirements, company policies and management service agreements. Responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed with all healthcare companies, plans and facility locations within our organization. Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems including licenses and certifications. What you’ll bring to the table: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred; Four (4) years of relevant payor enrollment experience required. Knowledge of MODIO credentialing software preferred. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate (PESC) preferred. A few requirements: Graduate of one of the following programs: Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A only), Paramedic, or another relevant program; or possesses active Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) designation Certification: BLS American Red Cross is required; American Safety Health Institute, or National Safety Council are preferred.
