About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in transactional/contract work in the aerospace/aviation industry, including drafting complex terms and conditions.
  • 4 years of experience in negotiation dealings, including purchase agreements.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer/client facing environment.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiating skills in English and French.
  • Knowledge of a third language such as Spanish or another European language is encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft and negotiate Aircraft Purchase Agreements and related documents for the sale of new private jets.
  • Draft complex and specialized terms and conditions that balance organizational risk and customer needs.
  • Ensure business objectives are reflected in contract language.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the US, Canada, and internationally to achieve optimal contractual outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align multiple interests with agreement terms.
  • Collaborate with other Contract Specialists to ensure effective Contract Management.
  • Determine when to escalate issues to appropriate teams and proactively raise potential risks.
  • Participate in meetings with senior leadership and high net worth individuals.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting of work, including accurate records of negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Assist in improving internal contract policies to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
