About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced L3 Contracts Manager to manage contracts through the entire lifecycle, from pre-award through closeout. This position will support proposal preparation, execute contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reading and interpreting contracts and statements of work.
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g., DFARS), and other agency regulations.
  • Proven experience in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracts from pre-award through close-out, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Execute contract negotiations and administration, providing proper acquisition and fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for contractual communication between L3Harris and customers, resolving issues and securing approvals.
  • Provide audit and fact-finding support for major proposals.
  • Conduct change management processes with internal teams and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulatory requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g., DFARS), and other agency regulations.
  • Compile and analyze data, maintain historical information, and prepare bids, specifications, progress, and other reports.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and interpret contract requirements to track contractual performance.
  • Interface directly with customers, senior management, and program teams to ensure successful contract execution.
  • Assist procurement personnel with significant contracting tasks, including establishing flow-down terms and conditions.
  • Influence successful business outcomes to achieve financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new and continuing programs.
