The Clinical Applications Specialist supports the technology that powers Tapestry 360 Health's mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. This role provides hands-on support for our electronic health record (EHR), practice management, and clinical applications. You'll work closely with clinical teams to ensure technology enhances-rather than hinders-patient care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, and supporting healthcare professionals in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience supporting healthcare or clinical applications (EHR, PMS, or related).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in healthcare technology.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Tapestry 360 Health locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends during system upgrades or rollouts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AthenaOne or other major EHRs strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare, FQHC, or ambulatory care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related support across EHR, PMS, and other clinical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with the IT team and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access settings for clinical applications.
  • Provide timely support to staff during clinic hours and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations and care teams to optimize system workflows and ensure efficient use of clinical applications.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining downtime protocols and system configurations.
  • Coordinate upgrades, testing, and integration of new features or modules.
  • Deliver end-user training and create educational resources to promote user confidence and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of Tapestry-provided devices, including distribution and repairs.
  • Support organization-wide technology initiatives, including data migrations, new site openings, and workflow improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
