Provides advice, consultation, and guidance regarding student behavior issues. Collects, organizes, and analyzes data that assists with the development of individualized programming for students. Supports school teams with using behavioral intervention strategies supported by the principals of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Provides professional development to personnel supporting students in need of ABA support. Ensures that all initiatives support the system-wide goals identified in The Compass: Our Pathway to Excellence. Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Training, and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree Three years of professional experience working with students receiving emotional and behavioral supports. Licenses and Certifications Possession of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required. Possession of a valid Behavior Analyst License by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists is required. Possession of a Maryland Educator Professional Certificate or Professional License in the area of special education is preferred.
