About The Position

Are you a seasoned professional passionate about pushing the boundaries of game development? We're looking for a Specialist Asset Pipeline TD to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain custom tools and scripts to streamline game asset creation in DCC software. Your expertise will be crucial in building robust import/export pipelines, developing validators for game content, and automating workflows.

Requirements

Knowledge of at least one 3D animation package: Maya, MotionBuilder, or Blender. The candidate should be open to learning all listed applications.
Proficiency in Python, focused on tool and script development for DCC software such as Maya, MotionBuilder and Blender.
Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Perforce.
Experience with Qt and Rez.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with SQL databases, including use of SQLAlchemy ORM is a plus.
Experience with web technologies like React is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Houdini and C++
Experience with web technologies such as React, REST APIs, and TypeScript.
Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and general game engine architecture.
Prior experience in the game development industry.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain custom tools and scripts to support the creation of game assets in DCC software.
Develop and maintain import/export pipelines of digital assets, validators for game content, automation pipelines.
Create and maintain various REST APIs to support current and future needs in the studio.
Provide technical support for team members working on digital assets.
Write and maintain documentation for systems developed by the team.
Closely cooperate with core assets pipeline team and provide support for existing tools and systems.
