Schwab Asset Management (SAM) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation. SAM delivers a wide variety of products including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), money market funds, collective investment trusts (CITs), and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). The overall SAM team embodies our firm's commitment to providing client-centric solutions that help Schwab clients achieve their financial goals. The SMA Billing team plays a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by performing accurate and timely fee calculations and generating invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years' experience within Financial Services industry and SMA experience
• Strong excel skills with macro and other data aggregation skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities to meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
• Ability to effectively work in both group settings as well as independently
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Advent Portfolio Exchange software
• General knowledge of accounting principles

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Vestmark One and Redi2 Wealth Manager software applications

Responsibilities

• Maintaining client accounts in the accounting software
• Billing fee calculations and accruals
• Off-cycle billing fee calculations and invoice preparation for terminating accounts
• Quarterly invoice generation
• Quarterly and termination fee requests from multiple custodians/accounts
• Outstanding fee maintenance and reconciliation of payments received
• Assist in providing estimated monthly revenue for our corporate business partners
• Collaborate on various projects that could impact SMA Billing
