About The Position

The Specialist 2, Retail Operations role at Comcast is responsible for administering sales reports and client activity for the Product Sales Support team. This position provides analytical and statistical support, prepares sales forecasts, budgets, and management reports, and works with moderate guidance in their area of expertise. The role involves training new leaders, conducting retail visits, and acting as a liaison between various departments to ensure effective communication and data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of relative work experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
  • Experience in product sales, retail sales, and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer sales reports and client activity for the Product Sales Support team.
  • Provide analytical and statistical support and prepare standard sales forecasts, budgets, projections, and other management reports.
  • Conduct retail visits 3-4 days a week.
  • Create and present reporting at Market Meetings.
  • Create training decks for store operations and audits.
  • Attend weekly Market Manager and BP partner meetings.
  • Train new leaders and SSAs on operations duties.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and train on retail tools as an expert.
  • Support special/ad hoc projects and store pilots and trials.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, tracking and verifying data for the Sales team.
  • Respond to and resolve basic account calls and escalate non-technical issues as necessary.
  • Enter agreements from the product sales team into databases.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and IT for database query requirements.
  • Maintain current information on Comcast products, services, equipment, and marketing promotions.
  • Conduct clerical research related to departmental programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Research, process, and manage customer escalations.
  • Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
