About The Position

As the S pecial Technical Operations (STO) Lead , supporting a national security program space warfighting mission, you will lead a geographically dispersed team responsible fo r managing compartmented operations and products while facilitat ing the integration of new capabilities and providing feedback to Acquisition o ffice s . As lead, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting and dissemination of products that inform decision -makers and the customer enterprise. You will coordinate and deconflict program planning activities across mission-related operations centers . A successful candidate will have subject matter expert (SME) -level depth of knowledge concerning customer enterprise missions and space /multi- domain operations with extensive experience leading planning projects , collaborating with senior rank ing authorities and supporting Tactics, Techniques, and Procedure (TTP) development .

Requirements

  • 12+ years ’ combined experience working in space defense operation s and Special Technical Operations (STO) with bachelor’s degree in related field ; 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of project management or experience leading space operation s or planning teams
  • 2+ years assigned at relevant I ntelligence Communi ty (IC) organizations conducting space ops
  • Active TS/SCI with adjudicated CI Poly
  • This position is contingent upon award of contract

Nice To Haves

  • Experience f acilitat ing connection s between Joint Staff, senior director offices, an d leadership across customer enterprise
  • E xperience working with secure databases , managing controlled classified material s ( i.e. ACCM)
  • Experience building checklists, procedures and exercise scenarios
  • SME knowledge of foreign/domestic space & ground threat capabilities and space surveillance networks with prior experience in tasking space surveillance resources
  • Understanding of international space policy and rules governing conduct of space-faring nation s

Responsibilities

  • Lead team personnel, STO operations and reporting activities
  • Manage Alternate Compensatory Control Measures ( ACCM )
  • P repare briefings, reports and othe r relevant products for informational and decision purposes
  • Assess procedures and capabilities and provide Acquisition office s feedback regarding customer requirements expectations and/or shortfalls of relevant systems
  • Deconflict offensive planning activities w ith n ational space -mission op erations center s
  • Support system integration , automation & machine learning , and exercise efforts as
  • Identify any system or intelligence gaps and assumptions that may pose a risk to mission success and report, manage and mitigate those risks
  • Work full-time on-site at a government facility in Springfield , VA
