About The Position

Responsible for the deep cleaning tasks of the entire casino, that requires using floor machines, ladders and mechanical lifts. Maintains carpet and hard floor surfaces (sweeps, removes gum, vacuums, spot cleans, steams, extracts, scrubs, waxes and polishes) using floor cleaning equipment and tools, brooms, mops and power cleaning equipment Cleans chairs and other upholstered furniture using cleaning equipment. Maintenance of high surfaces; vents, lights, chandeliers, windows. Washes walls and windows as necessary. Deep cleans restrooms with deep cleaning equipment May assist with waste and recycling collection May be in-charge of waste or trash debris removal of parking lot Uses equipment such as pressure washing equipment to deep clean exterior areas May be assigned to cover general housekeeping tasks such as game floor attending or restroom cleaning/stocking Empties trash into large central receptacle, transports trash and waste to disposal area. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned. Check all equipment for any signs of visible damage and malfunctions and inform the Housekeeping Supervisor of damage or malfunction immediately. Ensures that use and mixing of chemicals is done in accordance with the SDS and proper dilution use for task performed Follows daily cleaning schedules. Always use safety precaution signs and section barriers. Ensure customer and staff safety by maintaining distance between all equipment and the customers. Ensures cleanliness of housekeeping equipment; wipes down machinery with an all-purpose cleaner, rinses out the machine’s tanks both solution and recovery and returns all equipment to an appropriate storage area. Can walk and stand throughout the entire eight (8) hour shift. Can push a maximum of seventy-five (75) pounds, throughout the shift. Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds for various job-related duties. The duties listed are not set forth for the purpose of limiting the assignment of work. Requirements

Work Experience Required: Two years’ housekeeping / maintenance experience preferred.
Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Other Requirements: Must have a valid CA Driver License. Must be able to speak and understand English. Knowledge of general safety procedures as per company policy. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all tasks assigned. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
Can walk and stand throughout the entire eight (8) hour shift.
Can push a maximum of seventy-five (75) pounds, throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds for various job-related duties.
