Main office is located at 6127 South Valley Pike, Mount Crawford, VA 22841 Parent Company - Comfort Systems USA ( https://comfortsystemsusa.com/ ) Specific Job Duties: Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies: Manual dampers and supporting hardware Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons Design/draw necessary duct fittings in the field to facilitate installation Wire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment Pre-measure jobs to determine material required for installation Receive material and equipment required for each job, confirm accuracy and transport to job site Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment Complete readings on machines and take necessary steps based on readings Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications Physical Requirements: Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to work at heights Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. Must be able to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces Must be able to work within confined spaces Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects Education and Experience Requirements: Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED Must hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain 1 to 3 years’ experience of HVAC installation Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipment Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy

Requirements

  • Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED
  • Must hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience of HVAC installation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
