About The Position

The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is a part of UCI Health and the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences. The Samueli Institute works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-informed treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care, and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Analytical / problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.
  • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Strong policy analysis techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of or experience in integrative health.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leadership by managing a variety of high-priority initiatives and projects that are strategic in nature and critical to the success of the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute.
  • Coordinate initiative and project activities, track progress, and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Gather and interpret data, prepare regular and annual reports, and develop clear presentations and materials for leadership, stakeholders, and external audiences.
  • Ensure alignment with leadership priorities, timely communication of progress, and thorough documentation of outcomes.
  • Apply established policies, procedures, and project management practices to a diverse set of assignments.
  • Enhance reporting and presentation efforts through graphic design and data visualization skills.
