AWS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join the AWS Education Programs team. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing strategic educational initiatives that promote AWS technologies and cloud computing skills. The Program Manager will collaborate across various functions within AWS to execute strategic projects that influence the future of AWS Education Programs.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Training and Certification business.
  • Partner with AWS T&C Education Programs team and T&C Strategic Operations to create, measure, and execute a cohesive business model for defined AWS Education Program training offerings.
  • Coordinate end-to-end planning of activities/initiatives across all work streams (e.g., Branding, Marketing, Strategic Operations, Communications, Finance, etc.).
  • Use data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize and continuously improve cross-program processes and procedures.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as AWS Branding, Product Marketing, Localization, Operations, and Internal Enablement to achieve business goals.
  • Manage multiple priorities as an independent, self-starter with excellent time management within a rapidly evolving business.
  • Report on critical milestones within special projects, including executing on special project approved proposals and initiatives.
  • Manage and execute internal team communications to ensure cross-functional teams are informed and aware of critical initiatives and cross-program updates.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and communication strategies to promote AWS Education Programs.
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
