About The Position

The Special Programs Paraeducator position at Battle Ground High School involves working 2.50 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with specific times to be determined. The role may also include a 1-hour bus ride on weekdays as part of a non-continuing contract. Compensation is based on the terms of the PSE negotiated union agreement, with potential supplemental contracts available for classified employees whose base contract is less than 8 hours per day, including before or after school bus duty/supervision and BEA Base Time, both compensated at a rate of $22.66/hr to $30.46/hr.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for lawful employment in the United States.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to be fingerprinted at ESD 112 upon offer of employment.
  • No serious behavioral problems that endanger the educational welfare or personal safety of students, teachers, or colleagues.
  • No convictions or guilty pleas for crimes against children.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid First Aid card.
  • Valid CPR card.
