The Special Procedures Technologist provides healthcare services by applying pulsed x-ray energy for diagnosis or treatment. This role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. The technologist is expected to exercise professional judgment, maintain medical ethics, and recognize various patient conditions to provide appropriate care and ensure successful completion of exams or procedures.
