About The Position

The Special Procedures Technologist is responsible for maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. The role involves selecting and utilizing appropriate technical factors for procedures based on body habits, pathology, and body parts. The technologist processes completed images ensuring they are of interpretable quality and continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services. Compliance with all policies of the system is essential to deliver the highest quality of service. The technologist performs all Special Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call, along with performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved AMA school of radiologic technology.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
• SC License required.
