Requirements

• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry-eligible and must obtain within 90-days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintain as current.
• Attend 6 lead EKG course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures under the supervision of the Cardiologist and Director of Cath Lab.
• Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collect patient data and document procedures.
• Perform all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
