About The Position

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for the IR Weekender position. This role is a full-time opportunity with day shifts available. The position is located in Charlotte, NC, and is eligible for a sign-on bonus. The Special Procedures Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized imaging procedures and ensuring the highest quality of patient care during these procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced imaging technologies.
• Certification in vascular interventional radiography (VI) preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized imaging procedures in interventional radiology.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety standards.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.
