About The Position

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assisting in various special procedures. The role requires a strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained during procedures. Requirements

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certifications in specialized imaging techniques.
• Experience with patient management in a procedural setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing special procedures in the Interventional Radiology department.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
