Under the direction of the department chief, nurse leader, or designee, the Special Procedure Nurse provides practice management support and direct patient care in a procedural unit. Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure assessment, monitoring, and intra-procedural care for specialty areas such as GYN Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oncology, and GI procedures. This position requires working two weekend days in a 4-week schedule, one major summer holiday and one major winter holiday per year. The hours are M-F | 8 AM - 8 PM EST | S/SU 9 AM - 5 PM EST | Holidays vary
