Under the direction of the Interventional Radiology Clinical Coordinator, this individual must be able to operate all routine radiographic and interventional radiology equipment in a safe and proficient manner. This person must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered, or be registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT certification, if not held at the time of hire, is required within 1 year from the date of hire. Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology is preferred.

  • Produce high-quality radiographs.
  • Assist the radiologist with all different types of invasive and non-invasive procedures daily.
  • Assist as a scrub tech during invasive procedures.
  • Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department.
  • Be available for 24-hour mandatory On-Call, requiring a return time of 30 minutes or less to the hospital.
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • ARRT certification required within 1 year from the date of hire if not held at the time of hire.
  • Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology.
