About The Position

The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL), an accredited service line, provides specialized diagnostic and interventional services through many different testing services including: Cardiac Catheterization, Aortography, Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Ventriculography, and Electrophysiology. The normal hours of operation for the CCL are Monday and Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday - Thursday. Critical care services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dedicated call-team members consisting of a Cardiologist, RN circulators, scrub technicians, or registered Radiologic Technologists, are available for critical/emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Currently registered as a Radiological Tech (RT) through ARRT with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
• Registered as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registered as a Cardiovascular Tech (CVT).

Responsibilities

• Independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients.
• Implements appropriate diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic care and evaluates effectiveness, adjusting the plan as indicated in a timely manner.
