About The Position

Atrium Health is seeking a Special Police Officer to join our team in Lincolnton, NC. This position is full-time and will require working various shifts. The Special Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within the healthcare environment, ensuring a safe atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is critical in upholding the integrity of the facility and responding to emergencies as they arise. The officer will also engage in community policing efforts and collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities
