As a Special Operations Training and Readiness Analyst at American Systems Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASD SO/LIC). In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include prioritizing activities in a fast-paced environment, formulating SOF policies, and conducting thorough analyses of SOF resources. Your responsibilities will encompass providing technical expertise on Joint Combined Exercise for Training (JCET) authorities, coordinating and staffing Realistic Military Training events, and offering subject matter expert (SME) analysis on various SOF training and education programs. You will also assist in drafting Congressional testimony related to SO training programs and readiness, ensuring that the needs and requirements of SOF are effectively communicated to key stakeholders. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the development of budgetary and programmatic guidance for SOF training and education initiatives. You will be expected to interface with senior-level management and provide written technical analysis and support at various conferences, further solidifying the role of OASD(SO/LIC) in overseeing and enhancing SOF training and readiness.
