You are an empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. In this role, you will provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). You will follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team. Services may include: personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Services provided are non-medical Pay rates for this position are set by assignment and may vary depending on client location and services required. Expected CA pay rate for current assignments is set at $20/hour.
Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired)
- Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience
- Proof of negative TB Results – test accommodations or waivers may be available!
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) – reimbursement available!
