About The Position
We are seeking a responsible, loving, and reliable Child Care provider to join our team at California Care 4 U Inc. This position involves working with children with special needs, providing assistance with daily activities, and interacting with them in ways that encourage their growth and development. Special needs caregivers play a crucial role in supporting not only the children but also their families, offering non-medical relief for childcare needs. As a caregiver, you will work closely with a designated child as a 1:1 carer, ensuring that they can engage with a group of non-disabled peers and participate in various activities. Your role will involve actively engaging children and young people, providing encouragement and support tailored to their individual needs. It is essential to maintain good communication with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure that the child's needs are identified, acknowledged, and met effectively. Depending on the individual child, the role may also require aspects of personal and intimate care, such as toileting and feeding. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time work. The expected hours range from 10 to 40 hours per week, and the work location is in person in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for caregivers who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs and their families.
