About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in and around Lycoming County, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities Preferred, but NOT required!
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, hygiene, grooming, and other activities of daily living)
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation and housekeeping
- Take clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- Participate in community integration activities
